Bomb Blasts - Please Be Vigilant!!!

Hi,

Bomb blasts are now become very common in India. It's high time that we become alert and aware of what to do as a preventive measure and also at the time of chaos.

The given below is a mail sent by a software company to all its employees and I got it as a forward.  I thought it would be great if we can share it with all. Please pass it to all of them you know!

WHAT WE AS AN INDIVIDUAL CAN DO

You can attempt to do the following - be it the office, public place or at home:

1.      Ensure you keep telephone numbers of the Police control room, fire station, all local ambulance services and hospitals, bomb disposal squad handy.

2.      Ensure basic medical aid at hand always.

3.      Ensure Security,  if in a flat,  to be  vigilant  and  that he gets all two / four wheelers, including cycles, screened before allowing them inside  specially vendors/casual visitors.

4.      If you see new stalls/shops appearing   near your house/office, inform local police for checking and removing them if suspicious.

5.      All unattended two and four wheelers parked near your house must be viewed seriously with suspicion.

6.      Have more awareness and knowledge on fire fighting and casualty evacuation drills and share it with all at home/flat.

7.      Do not allow anyone to access your flat without having them screened as in today's world all of us are prone to infiltration.

While the above is just to remind you of the precautions to be taken, the key word here and the need of the hour is VIGILANT at all times.
